Horror Writing Not the Horror of Writing. Author, R. K. Mullins is a great example of not being put off by the thought of writing a book.
Introducing R.K. Mullins (Keith)
He grew up in a small coal mining town in southwestern Virginia. He quit high school halfway through his junior year. Upon leaving school he could barely read at a fourth-grade leave.
When he was twenty-five, he decided to go back to school, but with a reading disability he would fail. His literature professor discovered he couldn’t read and spent the next three months teaching Keith to read.
He went on to study drafting, mechanical and architectural design and spent the next eighteen years as a mechanical, electrical, architectural, and plumbing designer. After getting laid off in 2009 he went back to truck driving.
R.K. published his first book in May of 2020 (Time for a serial killer – A lifetime of murder)., Since then he has published three more books, (Confession Before Death – Satan’s Revenge, A Sniper’s Kiss – Hate takes a bullet, and The drunken Savior – short story memoir).
He is working on his ten-book serial killer series as well as many other projects. When he isn’t driving a truck, he can be found spending time with his girlfriend Beth and pounding away at the keys on his laptop.
